The C-5 is a popular hook if a fine wire presentation is required, but prone to open out on large fish (as I know from experience). It is now available in stronger wire. As the C-5X is available in sizes down to a #12 it is suitable for tench as well as barbel. Wide gape, strong wire, straight eye, curved in point.
